I get customers all the time who ask whether or not my jewelry will tarnish… the answer is quite simple… yes.  But with proper care it will stay nice.  I always purchase the best sterling silver to make my jewelry with which means that it is more dense and therefore does not tarnish very fast, and can quite simply be cleaned with some soap and water.  But there is no humanly possible way to make a piece of jewelry completely not tarnish!  Anyone who says otherwise is a liar.  The fact of the matter is that yes, jewelry does tarnish, get over it.  All metals do some are more resistant to it than others such as platinum, gold, and titanium but even those combine with other elements (which is essentially what tarnish is, when a metal combines with other elements in the air)
